Nottingham East Circuit

Part of the Nottingham and Derby Methodist District

Registered Charity 1134229

very warm welcome to our group of Methodist churches in the Nottingham East Circuit, which is part of the Nottingham and Derby District of the Methodist Church in Britain.

Nottingham East Circuit occupies a wedge running north and east of the City Centre, including all kinds of communities from urban and multi-cultural through suburban to rural. The 12 churches in their variety reflect those differences, encompassing everything from very informal and contemporary to traditional Methodist.

The Circuit in recent years has encouraged churches to experiment with different ways of worship and doing church, emphasising the need for the church to be serious about mission and making new disciples. We have a VentureFX project in the Circuit, Garden City, a new church which meets in a school, Church@Community, and one of our ministers, Deacon Tim Coleman, is a Circuit-wide evangelism enabler, working with local churches to help them in the crucial task of making new disciples. Three churches (Sherwood, Arnold and Phoenix Farm) run Messy Church, attracting many families who are not otherwise involved with church.

We welcome all people who are seeking to discover more about Jesus and what following him means in our everyday lives.

You will be able to find information about each church and contact details by clicking on
